our stay at beebole cottage was even better than our previous visit to askrigg. the beautifully restored 17th century building was cozy and comfortable, with modern amenities seamlessly integrated into its historic charm. we loved the well-equipped kitchen, the powerful shower, and the peaceful grounds. it was a short walk to the lake and a quick drive to the charming town of hawes with its shops, pubs, and attractions like the wensleydale creamery and national park center.
Low doorframes were a bit of a hazard.

The garden at Beebole Cottage is absolutely stunning. I felt like I was walking through a magical forest, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery all around. It was like stepping into a fairytale!
Low ceilings could be a challenge for taller guests.

My recent stay at Beebole Cottage was good. The location was peaceful and the cottage itself was cozy and quaint, providing everything I needed for a long weekend getaway. The amenities, including a fridge, freezer, washer, dishwasher, TV. The cottage was well-stocked with goodies like shortbread, tea, coffee, wine, and milk, making me feel right at home. there were novels, books on walks, and information on local attractions and dining options, which came in handy. Although I couldn't enjoy the garden due to the weather, it looked beautiful and I'm definitely planning to return in the summer.

The communication with the host was excellent and we appreciated the clear driving instructions. the location of the cottage was perfect, tucked away in a peaceful setting but still within a short drive of shops, pubs, and other amenities. the cottage itself was super cosy and had all the necessary facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the lovely pictures on the walls, which added to the charm of the cottage.
One drawback of the cottage was the low doorframes and beams, which could be problematic for taller people. We bumped our heads a couple of times, but it did add to the quirky character of the place.

The location was great, very peaceful. Lovely setting with the lake nearby. Good location for stargazing. Cottage cosy and quaint. All you need is there, fridge, freezer, washer, dishwasher. Some goodies provided, shortbread, tea, coffee, wine. Also novels, books on walks and info on things to do and where to eat in the area. Historic features such as "bee boles" harmonically fitted into the more modern interior. the kitchen was better equipped than most we have come across in many years of travel.
Felt truly spoilt, no complaints.

The cottage was beautifully designed, combining modern comforts with the charm of an ancient building. the kitchen was well-equipped, surpassing our expectations. the location was perfect for exploring the Dales, with a peaceful setting that provided a wonderful hideaway for a romantic getaway. We particularly enjoyed the well-kept garden and having our own space to relax in. the bed was comfortable and cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
Taller guests may need to watch out for the low lintel, but we found it added to the overall character of the cottage. we had a wonderful time and couldn't find anything negative to say about our experience.

The Balcony: Sitting on the balcony of this charming holiday home, I felt like I was perched on the edge of the world, with stunning views stretching out before me. It was the perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee or sip a glass of wine as the sun set, creating a picture-perfect panorama. Truly breathtaking!
Thermostat Placement: The only downside was the placement of the thermostat in the bedroom.

The room at Beebole Cottage was cozy and charming, perfect for a light sleeper like me. I loved the rustic decor and the soft, comfortable bed. It felt like a home away from home.
The bathroom only had a shower, which I personally prefer, but others might miss having a bathtub.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and made for a cozy night's sleep. the cottage itself was beautifully designed and had a lot of attention to detail. I loved the fact that I had complete control over the heating, which was perfect for a chilly Easter weekend. the location was secluded and peaceful, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. the cottage was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities.
One minor drawback was that the bedroom was a bit small and lacked space for getting changed. this was easily overcome by using the bathroom as an alternative dressing area.

We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay at a stylish and comfortable little cottage. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, including tea, coffee, and spices. We even received generous complementary welcome gifts. The host communication was excellent and driving instructions were clear. The location was nicely off the beaten path, perfect for a romantic long weekend. The lake nearby provided a beautiful setting, and the cottage itself was cozy and quaint. We appreciated the extras like books on walks and information on local attractions.
Just a warning, the cottage has low doorways and beams, so it may not be suitable for tall people. We also found the steps from the car park a bit tricky.
